This site is specifically designed to enable further exposure to photographers working across our worlds developing nations and soon, with further features, allow methods of help and advice as well as solutions to assignments, locations, sales and more to both novice and professional photographers alike. Even though this site is separate and outside of the OWP Agency, it is fully backed by and maintained by the OWP Agency.
Becoming a OWP Represented Photographer
This community site can be used as an entrance tool into any future represented position within the OWP Agency if a photographer is looking to develop themselves further within the OWP Family.
OWP uses a nominate program and most photographers are brought in under recommendation by other staff photographers or editor. From the creation of this site we will now consider photographers to the nominate program from our listed members base (members listed on this site). We will base our decision on their profile, portfolio and images submitted for various contests, gallery shows as well as other deciding factors. We do not accept blind applications or direct request from photographers (members or not).
About being a nominate photographer
Nominate photographers have the option of taking on paid OWP assignments, selling images through our client side database and news wire system, display work at our galleries and more.
Nominate photographers are not exclusively represented by OWP and can therefore take on OWP assignments and sell imagery at their own pace while they remain with their current employment or throughout their learning curve.
From nominate to staff
Once a year we review nominate photographers portfolios for one of our few yearly staff openings.
Staff photographers are paid a monthly salary plus earn high percentage of imagery sold as well as daily paid assignments, per diem, travel allowances, health benefits and full partnership within a 100% profit share company.
